Professional Standards

The Professional Standards Division is responsible for all emergency medical, fire suppression, special operations, recruit, and administrative training. The Division also oversees certification maintenance, research and development, safety, and quality assurance. The Professional Standards Division assists in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, oversees administrative investigations, and functions as an administrative liaison to other local, state and federal agencies.

  • Training, certifications, and licensing
  • Promotional performance standards

  • Oversight of Fire Station and Administrative facilities
  • Develop/Implement SOPs
